A United Fire & Water representative identified a hot water heater leaking down into the hallway bathroom. Only the ceiling was affected. They set up 1 air mover and 1 Dehumidifier and performed demolition to the crown molding around the full-height cabinet in the bathroom. Monitored drying equipment and moisture levels, removed crown molding around cabinetry in bathroom and wet insulation from the attic.

April 28, 2020 | Zachary, LA

A technician from United Fire & Water set up fans, a dehumidifier, and an air scrubber. They also removed the drywall and pulled the carpet from the closet. After running the machines for 3 days, everything was dry. We replaced the drywall and reinstalled the carpet for the homeowner.

Water from showe affected bathroom, master bedroom, hall and living room. Need 7 air movers 1 scrubber and 1 dehumidifier. Heavy mold on master bathroom exterior wall we did a 2 ft flood cut. Went monitored today and again the master bedroom is still at 100% the fans were unplugged so I showed the customer so that she would realize that she couldn't unplug the equipment and we need to bring another fan add another dehumidifier because one is not working anymore and the dehumidifier is not getting hotter than 74 degrees and possibly tent.
