Depending on the project and partnership structure, United Fire & Water may assist with equipment deployment, structural drying, documentation, project management, manpower, or other restoration resources while working within an agreed project-support arrangement.

Rapid Catastrophe Resource Mobilization
Large-loss restoration requires the ability to move equipment and resources quickly.
Much of the equipment available through United Fire & Water's catastrophe resources can be palletized for efficient loading, transportation, and unloading at commercial restoration projects.
For many Louisiana projects, catastrophe resources may be mobilized with a goal of reaching the site within approximately 4 to 6 hours, depending on location, weather, road conditions, equipment availability, and the scope of the catastrophe.
For projects outside our immediate Southeast Louisiana service area, resources can be mobilized as quickly as conditions and logistics allow.

Hurricane Ida – St. Charles Parish School District
13 Schools | More Than 2 Million Square Feet Dried Concurrently
Following Hurricane Ida in 2021, United Fire & Water was contracted to perform restoration services for 13 St. Charles Parish School District facilities.
The catastrophe response required the mobilization of more than 90 trailer-mounted desiccant dehumidifiers and generators, along with thousands of pieces of portable drying equipment.
United Fire & Water dried more than 2,000,000 square feet of school facilities concurrently.
Temporary housing resources, including RVs and trailers, were also mobilized to support restoration personnel throughout the affected area.
Hurricane Katrina – Multi-Location Commercial Restoration
20+ Locations Across Louisiana & Mississippi
Following Hurricane Katrina, United Fire & Water performed water damage restoration and mold remediation at more than 20 Blockbuster Video locations across Louisiana and Mississippi.
Locations included New Orleans, Metairie, Kenner, Terrytown, Biloxi, Gulfport, and other affected markets.
The project demonstrates UFW's ability to coordinate restoration across multiple commercial properties following a widespread regional catastrophe.
