United Fire & Water sent a technician onsite to assess the work. They noted water pooling on the first floor and had heavily saturated 2 bedrooms. The flooring had already been removed. UF&W performed a needed extraction from the 1st-floor concrete, cleaned up insulation, and set equipment. Microbial growth and excessive water damage were present on all 3 floors and in the attic. They set dehumidification equipment and air scrubbers on each floor to dry out and clean the air. Extra dehumidification and air purification were used to stabilize the drying chamber and purify any particulate from the air in order to avoid cross-contamination. After all remaining structures were dried and demolition debris was removed, the areas were cleaned with an antimicrobial solution and HEPA vacuumed.
