August 18, 2025 | Metairie, LA

Our technicians performed demolition in the affected areas to remove wet, non-salvageable materials and open up hidden spaces for proper drying. Once demolition was complete, we strategically placed several high-powered fans and large air movers throughout the apartment. This setup allowed us to quickly circulate air and target moisture trapped in structural materials.

To ensure a thorough restoration, we also installed a commercial-grade dehumidifier and HEPA-filtered air scrubbers. This equipment reduced moisture levels, improved air quality, and removed harmful particles and mold spores from the environment. Thanks to United Fire & Water’s fast response and proven methods, the property was stabilized and protected from further damage. This Baton Rouge, LA water damage restoration project demonstrates our expertise in handling apartment water losses efficiently and safely.

April 24, 2024 | Metairie, LA

To ensure proper remediation, United Fire & Water placed advanced air purification equipment throughout the affected space to filter airborne spores. Our team also identified wet particle board dividers, which will need to be removed to prevent further contamination and damage. Using an endoscope camera, we found mold growth higher inside the wall than the initial four-inch cut revealed, requiring a more extensive one-foot cut above the area already demoed. These careful inspections and recommendations help guarantee the property is restored safely and thoroughly. As Louisiana’s most certified restoration company, United Fire & Water is trusted for commercial water damage restoration, roof leak cleanup, and mold remediation. We follow strict IICRC standards and use advanced technology to ensure a safe, healthy environment for businesses to reopen quickly. Our certified technicians performed comprehensive demolition, structural drying, and mold remediation services in accordance with IICRC standards. Due to widespread water saturation, drywall throughout the complex required controlled demolition. We then deployed commercial-grade drying equipment to reduce moisture levels in the remaining structure and applied antimicrobial treatments to help prevent mold growth. The goal was to not only restore the property but to preserve the livability and integrity of each apartment unit. Thanks to the timely response and thorough mitigation process by United Fire & Water, the apartment complex in Metairie, LA was saved from extensive long-term damage. Ownership was thrilled with the results, and the tenants were able to return to safe, clean living spaces in a short period of time. July 15, 2025 | Kenner, LA

Upon inspection, our technicians identified elevated moisture levels in the flooring and surrounding structures. To address the issue, we deployed an Injectidry system—specifically designed for drying out hard flooring materials without requiring full demolition. In addition, multiple air movers and fans were strategically placed throughout the living room, hallway, and playroom to promote consistent airflow and expedite the drying process.

To further stabilize the indoor environment, a commercial-grade dehumidifier was set up in the hallway near the closet and the source bathroom to remove excess humidity from the air. This multi-layered drying strategy ensured the moisture was thoroughly eliminated, reducing the risk of mold growth and secondary damage. United Fire & Water’s expert response in Kenner, LA highlights our commitment to protecting homes through effective and efficient water damage restoration.

March 24, 2020 | Kenner, LA

We sent a team to the house and placed drying equipment including air scrubbers, dehumidifiers, and air movers. After taking moisture readings an estimation of 7-9 days of dry time would be needed, the drying took 8 days in total. Their wood floor dried and didn't buckle. After the water had been extracted, moisture levels had returned to normal standards and the structures were dry we removed our equipment.
