More About Port Allen

In Paris seek of West baton rouge Parish, Louisiana a small city by the name of Port Allen can be found. Located on the West Bank of the Mississippi river, it is bordered by two significant roads in the state. Interstate 10 and US Highway 190 pass right through and by the town. The population as of 2010 was 5180 people. The population has been decreasing since 2000 and there is no specific pinpoint reason for why. Port Allen is most known for being home to the Mississippi river front development which provides a panoramic view of the Mississippi river and Baton Rouge. The city was founded in 1878. The name Port Allen was an honor of Henry Walkens Allen, a member of the confederate army during the Civil War. He was also the 17th governor of Louisiana. Prior to taking leader ship in the state he had owned a slave working Sugar plantation and a town he had started in 1855.

Vanity 1: We remove the countertop, vanity, and 3x7 drywall and clean everything for mold. Bath 1, We are removing 3x4 drywall clean everything for mold. We will use two fans, 2 DH and 2 neg air fans 2 to 3 days. all dry and cleaned.

A United Fire & Water representative went on site to take moisture readings and place drying equipment. Hardwood flooring was removed from the master bedroom. Following demolition of the floor, an antimicrobial spray was used to treat the area prior to new flooring being installed. Drying equipment was removed from the home once remaining structures were dry and moisture readings were within normal limits.

A United Fire & Water professional reviewed the moisture readings in the bathroom and set up drying equipment for better evaporation. After a few days the drying equipment was removed from the residence and the home was returned to pre-loss moisture levels.
