Full Contents Pack Out, Smoke & Soot Removal, and Ozone Treatment

Our scope of work included a complete contents pack out with inventory documentation. Items were securely transported to our climate-controlled storage facility or vaults for cleaning and safekeeping. To address smoke damage, we used professional Drychem chemical sponges to safely clean all affected surfaces and materials. Porous items such as mattresses were thoroughly cleaned and then treated with advanced ozone technology to eliminate any lingering smoke odors. Additionally, a large ozone generator was placed on-site, accompanied by 6-8 axial air movers to ensure even distribution of ionized oxygen throughout the home. Attic Insulation Removal and Fire Damage Mitigation Services

During the evaluation, the attending electrician advised that all attic insulation be removed due to contamination from smoke and soot. Our team is prepared to carry out the full insulation removal as part of our fire damage restoration services. Notably, no water damage occurred thanks to the use of a dry pulp fire extinguisher by the fire department. At United Fire and Water, we specialize in fire and smoke damage restoration in Clinton and across Louisiana, offering detailed assessments, professional cleaning, and complete restoration to bring your property back to pre-loss condition.

A United Fire & Water professional went to Sherry's home and spoke with the plumber who shut off the water and was fixing the issue. Upon inspection the water was freshwater that affected the laundry room, the sill plate in the dining room and rear hallway, the rear bedroom, and the rear bathroom area. UF&W removed the quarter round and affected padding. UF&W also performed all demolition and set drying equipment. All remaining structures were treated with an antimicrobial solution to mitigate future mold growth. After a few days of running the drying equipment moisture levels were at normal limits.
