Job completed for David M.

Completion date: November 7, 2022

Location: Prairieville, LA

Why did the customer contact us?

David called stating he had a pipe burst in the wall resulting in standing water in three rooms and a hallway.

Solutions provided:

United Fire & Water went to David's home and found wet laminate floors and carpet with standing water in the master bath, master bedroom, living room, front bathroom, front bedroom, and hallway. UF&W took infrared pictures, and moisture readings for affected materials, performed an initial DocuSketch, and set up 3 air scrubbers and 2 dehumidifiers for stabilization. The next day UF&W began demolition and set up drying equipment. Baseboards and crown molding, carpet, and padding were removed from the affected areas. An Injectadry system was set up in some areas to dry engineered hardwood flooring. After all remaining structures were dry, a HEPA vacuum was performed and all areas were treated with an anti-microbial solution to mitigate future mold growth.
