Job completed for Ashton--water damage Baton Rouge
Completion date: January 1, 2024
Location: Baton Rouge, LA
Why did the customer contact us?
A residential property in Baton Rouge, LA experienced significant water damage after a dishwasher leak caused heavy saturation throughout multiple areas of the home. 💧🏠 Although the plumbing issue had already been repaired, water had spread into walls, baseboards, flooring, and trim, leaving several materials heavily saturated and requiring immediate mitigation.
Solutions provided:
Our team performed a detailed inspection and identified extensive moisture throughout the affected areas. Wet sheetrock, damaged baseboards, and impacted trim materials were documented across multiple rooms. Due to the level of saturation, removal of affected materials was recommended to properly expose hidden moisture and prevent further deterioration or mold growth. Professional drying equipment was placed throughout the home to bring the structure back to IICRC drying standards. An air scrubber was also installed to help maintain indoor air quality during and after demolition. Once drying is complete, all affected areas will be cleaned and sanitized to prepare the space for repairs and reconstruction.
