During Gustav, most of the roofs on my 90 unit apartment complex were blown off and about 30 units experienced significant damage. The challenges included securing the buildings so that they would not be subject to additional roof leads, determining which tenants had to be re-located, getting moisture out before mold set in, and getting the units trashed out, and then completing the re-build. UFW assigned an excellent supervisor who put in long hours each day to effectively address the problems. He and his team have done a very good job throughout this process. They have also been easy to work with – knowledgeable, forthright and very pleasant. Kevin Hussey, has spent a great deal of time at the property as well and has help me a great deal working through the insurance claim process. Overall, I can say that UFW is one of the best contractors that has ever worked for me.

Amazing service and very fast. Out tub had a leak and it flooded our closet. Kevin and his team were here the quick and the water and smell were gone when they finished. They are amazing and we would recommend United Fire & Water to all our friends and family.

Everything was great except the painting. I think the company could benefit from hiring a full time painter, other than that the experience was fine.

I have used United Fire & Water on several occasions. The most recent was a flood in a rental unit, caused by bathwater overflowing in tub. Damage to my unit and the one immediately below was severe. Kevin and a co-worker responded to my call in about 45 minutes, extracted standing water from both condos and set up drying equipment in approximately 2 hours. Every experience with this company and Kevin Hussey has been positive and have exceeded my expectations. I would recommend United Fire & Water to anyone dealing with water or fire damage.

United Fire & Water performed mold remediation and water damage repairs for a tenant in a shopping center that we own in Morgan City, LA. They were very quick to respond to our need for remediation and performed the work as quickly as possible. They also replaced the damaged sheetrock and ceiling tiles that needed to be removed. It was nice to be able to use one company and speak to one person about having this work done. United Fire & Water will certainly be my first phone call in the event we experience any issues with fire and water damage in the future.

When I called them around 5:00 on a Monday evening, they were at my Slidell home within 2 hours to assess my flooded home. They had their equipment at my home that same night and started removing the water. They were fast, understanding and easy to work with. They checked on my property every couple days to determine what needed to be done. My home was back to normal, with minimal damage with in 10 days. I would recommend them to everyone. I had the owners direct cell phone number and he answered every time I called.

I guess you could say United Fire & Water Damage Restoration was Johnny on the spot as soon as I called in a panic with water coming through the ceiling at my newly renovated office building.
