After an air conditioning pan overflowed, causing a wet ceiling in the laundry room, the homeowner called for help.
Solutions provided:
A United Fire & Water representative set up a dehumidifier, air mover, and an air scrubber in the laundry room. This trifecta of equipment is used to reduce moisture levels in the air and dry structures and remove particles and mold spores from the air. The representative also vacuumed all wet insulation in the attic and removed it from the property. Additional fans were set in the attic after finding numerous wet areas the insulation had covered. After a few days, the structures were dry, and the homeowner was able to replace the insulation in her attic.
