Job completed for Colin L.

Completion date: July 25, 2022

Location: Baton Rouge, LA

Why did the customer contact us?

A Pipe burst in the homeowner's ceiling, they called wanting us to contain the leak and clean up until the plumber could get there and then after their work was done.

Solutions provided:

A team from United Fire & Water cleaned and packed up the office, extracted the carpet in the master bedroom, and moved the furniture to the hallway. They took out the wet insulation in the attic and performed demolition in the office including tearing the entire sheetrock ceiling in the office, shoe molding, and base on the left wall. In the master bedroom, we removed some carpet and padding and performed a 2-foot flood cut on one wall. The carpet wicked up about 4-6 inches up the wall. After extractions were performed the areas were treated with antimicrobial solutions to avoid future mold growth.
