Lauren called for help with a leak possibly originating from an upstairs bathroom that was running down the wall into the living room.
Solutions provided:
A United Fire & Water technician assessed the leak and identified the air conditioner drain pan had overflowed, saturating the drywall in 2 upstairs bedrooms, the downstairs living room, and the master bedroom. UF&W set drying equipment including dehumidifiers, axial air movers, and air scrubbers. We also removed the affected ceiling drywall as well as insulation in the living room. Engineered hardwood flooring as well as felt backing was also removed. We applied an antimicrobial solution to the subfloor and performed cleaning.
